On May 22, 2023, the World Surgical Foundation Philippines signed a Memorandum of Agreement with the Armed Forces of the Philippines for the WSFP Surgical Outreach Program, which aims to reach more indigent patients from far-flung communities needing surgical treatment.
“The project we embark on today is not merely a symbolic gesture; it is a call to action, a testament to our unwavering belief that everyone deserves equal access to life-saving surgical interventions,” shared Ms. Arlene Keh, WSFP Chairman, during the event.
Through this partnership, various surgical outreach activities will be organized in different parts of the country starting in July this year.
