WSFP and the Senate Spouses Foundation, Inc. Hold a Surgical Outreach Activity in Bukidnon Province

On March 15-16, 2023, the World Surgical Foundation Philippines in partnership with the Senate Spouses Foundation, Inc and Bukidnon Local Government Unit conducted a 2-day surgical outreach activity that benefitted a total of 167 indigent patients in need of life-changing surgical treatments.


During this activity held at the Bukidnon Provincial Hospital, Maramag, the Mission team performed a total of 77 major surgeries and 90 minor surgeries.


The surgical outreach activities were made possible in partnership with the following government and non-governmental organizations: Senate Spouses Foundation, Inc., Senator Migz Zubiri, Philippine Airlines, Cebu Pacific Air, Aboitiz, Bukidnon Medical Society, Bukidnon Provincial Hospital - Maramag, LBC Express Inc, Unilab, Ansell; our partner medical societies - Philippine College of Surgeons Foundation Inc, Philippine College of Surgeons-Southern Tagalog Chapter, Philippine College of Surgeon Surgery for the Underserved Regions and for Education Commission (PCS - SURE), Philippine Society of General Surgeons, Philippine Society of Anesthesiologists, Inc(PSA), Philippine Society of Pediatric Surgeons(PSPS), Operating Room Nurses Association of the Philippines(ORNAP).
