On August 2, 2022, the World Surgical Foundation Philippines and the Rotary Club of Makati Central helped more than 70 adult and pediatric patients from Botolan, Zambales get their needed minor surgeries.
Botolan is one of the municipalities in Zambales with limited number of surgical manpower. With the impeding effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, its constituents were left with more challenges accessing medical and surgical services.
--- The surgical outreach activity was made possible in partnership with the Rotary Foundation and Rotary Club of Makati Central, Philippine Navy Civil Military Operations Group, Local Government of Botolan, Zambales, Philippine College of Surgeons Surgery for the Underserved Regions and for Education (SURE) Commission, Operating Room Nurses Association of the Philippines, Ansell, and Sanosil Philippines Inc.
