WSFP and Sun Life Philippines Foundation Hold a Surgical Outreach Activity in Mangatarem, Pangasinan

On November 28-29, 2022, the World Surgical Foundation Philippines in partnership with Sun Life Philippines Foundation, PCS-SURE, the Mangatarem Local Government Unit, the Pangasinan Provincial Government, the MBP-Blessed Trinity General Hospital and Dagupan Doctors Villaflor Memorial Hospital served a total of 124 indigent adult and pediatric patients from the municipality of Mangatarem, Pangasinan.

The mission team successfully performed 16 ENT surgeries, 39 general surgeries and 7 pediatric surgeries, and 62 minor surgeries during the 2-day surgical outreach activity.

The surgical outreach activity was made possible in partnership with the Sun Life Philippines Foundation, Mangatarem, Pangasinan Local Government Unit, Pangasinan Provincial Government, MBP-Blessed Trinity General Hospital, Inc., Dagupan Doctors Villaflor Memorial Hospital, Philippine College of Surgeons Surgery for the Underserved Regions and for Education Commission ( PCS - SURE), PhilippineSocietyof AnesthesiologistsInc (PSA) , Philippine Society of Pediatric Surgeons Inc. - PSPS (PSPS), periOperative Registered Nurses Association of the Philippines, (ORNAP) Inc., and Ansell.
